Giant Steps benefits greatly from a number of dedicated community members who undertake to support us by

• donating their time and practical skills or
• by contributing financially towards the cost of providing programs for students.
We keep in touch with members of the community, by sending out regular updates of student activities and progress.
As the Principal of the school I am often asked by members of the community how they can assist students at Giant Steps. Here are some suggestions.
• Contribute financially to the Sponsor a Child Program i.e. contribute towards the cost of a specific student’s educational placement at Giant Steps.
• Contribute financially to the Giant Steps Programs
• Become a volunteer ( a police check and references required)
• On occasions community groups contact us in relation to providing students with special visits or use of equipment i.e. use of a jumping castle, providing a train rides etc.
